52 Then they crossed the Jordan into the extensive plain[a] opposite Beth-shan. 53 Judas continued to rally the stragglers and to encourage the people throughout the journey until they reached the land of Judah. 54 They ascended Mount Zion with joy and gladness and offered burnt offerings because they had returned safely without the loss of a single person.
